Neva Masquerade Cat (AKA Colorpoint Siberian Forest Cat) History

Recently I decided to make a little search about my breed. And here is what I found:

Neva Masquerade Cat (AKA Colorpoint Siberian Forest Cat) History:

When other cats breeds were imported to this area the Siberian was mixed with pointed cats such as Balinese, Siamese, Persians, Himalayans, etc., this created offspring with a – fluffy coat with pointed color. Some claim this mix was natural, why others claim intentional.

No no! I'm aborigine cat! There were no mix with any other breeds! First mentions about Neva Masquerade were during WW2 - and do you really think that any one would have intentionally mix breeds during this period?? Pffhhh!

Blue point

Isn't he really nice? It's a blue point variation. They really look great! But I'm better of course!
